This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for cruise bookings made through our website.


1. General Policy

All car rental bookings made through CarRentalShops are subject to the refund and cancellation policies of the car rental company or third-party provider offering the service. We do not set or control refund amounts or timelines.


2. Eligibility for Refund

You may be eligible for a refund if:

  • The car rental company cancels or significantly changes your booking.
     
  • You cancel within the allowable window as per the car rental companies' policy.
     
  • There is a duplicate charge or technical issue during booking.
     

Refunds are not granted for:

  • “Non-refundable” or “final sale” fares.
     
  • Cancellations made after the refund deadline.
     
  • Missed departures due to expired documents or personal reasons.
     

3. Cancellation Timeline

Each car rental company has its own cancellation deadline (e.g., 90, 60, or 30 days before departure). Penalties typically increase as the departure date approaches. Please review the cancellation terms provided at the time of booking.


4. Refund Process

  • Refund requests must be submitted via email to contact@carrentalshops.com with your booking reference and reason for cancellation.
     
  • Once approved by the cruise line, refunds will be processed within 7–21 business days to your original payment method.
     
  • Refund timelines may vary depending on bank processing times and car rental company policy.
     

5. Processing Fees

In some cases, a processing or administrative fee may be deducted from the refund amount, based on cruise line or payment gateway terms.


6. Modifications Instead of Refunds

In some instances, car rental companies may offer:

  • Travel credit or voucher in place of a refund.
     
  • Rescheduling or rebooking at no additional cost (subject to terms).
